Today, I was unexpectedly bothered by the passing of my beta fish, Ruby. He was only with me for 2 months but I already miss him! Lame, but I have to admit, it was surprisingly peaceful and soothing to have such a quiet desk buddy swimming around all day.
The causes of death are unknown but here are the likely reasons ordered from most likely to least likely:
1) Manny sabotaged Ruby and Taro while we were away at the co location yesterday.
2) Ruby died because he missed me and couldn't bear the hours we were apart during a normal week day.
3) Ruby was really old when I got him and he died in his sleep.
4) The chemical drops we didn't add this time mattered.
Whatever the case, I like to think he had a short but happy life and saw more of the world from the 10th floor than most fishes ever do their entire lives. This marks the first unhappy wound up moment in my blog.

Why must you lie!?!?! I did not kill your fish. Ruby was doomed when you picked her up from the pet store. :P
I figured out why they died. It's cause they didn't get any!!!! I mean, who could survive 3-4 months without sex?!?!?!?! Haha.
